When your application is turned in, it is given to our personnel department to be reviewed and processed (reference checks, background checks, etc...). Please DO NOT call the J & R Cleaning Office to check on your application. If an interview is to be scheduled, you will be contacted.
It is unknown when we will pick up a new contract and/or have availability at a current contract; therefore we will continually accept applications even when we have no available positions at the time. Like many other companies J & R Cleaning Service is always looking for dependable, hard working employees.
If we find a contract that we feels fits you, you will be notified and asked to come in for an interview. We do not have a set amount of time in which you will be contacted; you may be called after one day, after one week or not at all.
The number of applications we receive does exceed the amount of positions we have available.
Requesting a Specific Area and/or Contract
The contract, at which you are placed should you be hired, depends on which positions we have available as well as where we feel you would fit best. You are able to request an area but you are not able to request specific contracts. It is NOT guaranteed that we will have an opening in the area you requested.
Hours and Starting Time
Your starting time and the number of hours you work each night will depend on the contract(s) in which you are placed. Contract starting times and hours do vary from contract to contract. If you are hired, your starting time and number of hours worked per night will be communicated to you in the orientation.
J & R Cleaning's starting pay varies from employee to employee. Some of the items that determine starting pay are your skills, knowledge and experience for the assigned position.

We have contracts in the Goshen, Bristol, Elkhart, Shipshewana, Middlebury, Milford and Warsaw areas.
